How can an international marketing manager use product depth to market products internationally?
In areas such as channels of distribution, attitude of the consumers, product and sales are the essential for marketing knowledge, and this would help in the implementation of global standardization. Information related to product modification, such as whether the product requires modification to meet the international market as some of the countries require, special testing, safety, quality, and technical conformity measures and others include certification, limitation and quota limitations. Secondly, whether the product requires extensive training if it is that, it places a greater responsibility to the firm, if not the exportability would be stronger.
Thirdly, after the same, the product needs considerable support such as maintenance, parts inventory, training and warranty and others issues such as additional storage and shipping cost, delivery, etc. Fourthly, whether the product has multiple application to fulfill the different needs and this would have greater potential in the international market and would reach a diverse audience.
